Collaborating within a cohesive team, I embarked on the mission of seamlessly integrating diverse design elements to craft a captivating and accessible experience tailored to elementary children and their parents. Our collective efforts were dedicated to developing a rich tapestry of engaging components that would immerse readers in the multifaceted world of historical figures.
The culmination of our endeavors resulted in a remarkable two-volume set comprising 60 chapters, meticulously showcasing a diverse array of influential personalities from United States history. Among the roster of luminaries featured were renowned figures such as Thomas Edison and Theodore Roosevelt, alongside lesser-known yet remarkable individuals like Temple Grandin, the visionary autistic professor who revolutionized cattle management practices.
In my capacity as the Design Lead, I embarked on the task of conceptualizing and crafting compelling layouts for each chapter. Additionally, I meticulously delved into the text, adeptly composing vivid and evocative illustration descriptions to guide our talented illustration team in their creative process.
As a pivotal part of the project, I assumed the responsibility of assembling and recruiting a proficient illustration team. From an initial team of two, I expanded our creative force to a dedicated team of six individuals, ensuring that we had the necessary resources to deliver an exceptional product within the designated timeframe. My role encompassed daily communication with the illustration team, adeptly coordinating their efforts, and holding them accountable to project milestones and deadlines.
With all the integral design elements at my disposal, I deftly wove them together harmoniously, resulting in an enthralling narrative tapestry that celebrates the captivating tapestry of American history.

I was tasked with the responsibility of designing and developing a comprehensive set of 36 weekly experiments to serve as a supplementary resource to the scientific textbooks utilized by children in their studies. These experiments were specifically intended to be incorporated into a series of books catering to students from Kindergarten through 6th grade, with the intention of encouraging parental involvement in the learning process. Each experiment was meticulously crafted to encompass fundamental concepts, accompanied by detailed, step-by-step instructions, visually appealing illustrations, and invaluable tips to facilitate a seamless experience for the readers.
In my capacity as the Design Lead, I assumed the role of establishing a consistent wayfinding system within the textbooks, implementing color schemes that effectively differentiated various scientific principles, and meticulously selecting typography that embodied the dual purpose of captivating homeschooling mothers while serving as a practical textbook for classroom settings.
Moreover, I assumed the role of Art Director, overseeing a dedicated team of designers and illustrators who collaborated in the creation of the essential visual assets required for this project. By synergistically coordinating their efforts, we ensured the timely delivery of high-quality content that perfectly complemented the instructional aspects of the books.
The culmination of this series of books conferred a distinct competitive advantage upon Inquisicorp within the science homeschooling industry, effectively elevating their grade packages across two companies operating under their esteemed umbrella brand.
